Forgiveness Practice

Lying in bed before you go to sleep, place your hands palm down on your chest. Pay attention to how you feel from the point of view of your chest. Then note the sensation in your hands. When you have noted some feeling, allow your hands to float off your physical body a couple of inches.

Now note the feeling in your chest, and in the palms of your hands. Keep paying attention until you begin to feel sensation in your chest and palms even when you move the palms five inches or a foot off your body.

Now visualize the person you wish to forgive or ask forgiveness of, and place them between your hands and chest. Allow that person to lie within the energy of your heart center.

It is as if their energy body were lying right on your chest. You can speak to the person, or simply offer the best and finest energy you can generate. Bathe the person in your love. You will know when the forgiveness practice is complete. If you cannot do it all in one session, continue the next night when you go to bed.

Continue for as many nights as necessary. Slowly let go of all the negative charge in the relationship, and let the essential oneness take over. Even if you never say anything to a person you hold in this way, you will begin to notice changes in their attitude. If you do this practice steadily, your relationships will begin to take on a new and open quality.
